Adding a secondary email address to your cPanel account allows you to receive important account notifications (such as login alerts) and password recovery emails to more than one address. This adds an extra layer of security and ensures you won’t lose access if your primary email becomes unavailable. The secondary address is stored in your Contact Information settings in cPanel.

Step 1. Log in to your cPanel account and use the search bar to find Contact Information.

Step 2. Enter your primary email address in the first field, and your secondary (backup) email address in the second field. This address will be used for account alerts and password reset emails.

Step 3. Click the Save button to apply your changes.

Your secondary email is now saved and will be used for important communications from your hosting provider, including login alerts and password recovery instructions.
