If a legitimate email is mistakenly flagged as spam, it will be moved to the Spam Box—unless you’ve enabled auto-delete, in which case the message is permanently removed.

You can check the Spam Box using:

  • Webmail

  • Or your preferred email client (e.g., Outlook, Thunderbird)

To recover the email, simply move it back to your inbox.

If this issue occurs often, you can:

  • Adjust the Spam Threshold Score in cPanel to reduce false positives

  • Whitelist the sender’s email address to ensure future messages are delivered correctly

Regularly reviewing your Spam Box helps prevent missing important messages.
